BonbonLab operates on a match-3 grid system where players align three or more identical candies to clear them from the board. Each level presents a unique objective: reach a target score within limited moves, collect specific candy types, or break through multi-layered obstacles like chocolate blocks and jelly squares.
The core progression system spans 500+ handcrafted levels divided into themed worlds. Each world introduces new candy types, obstacle mechanics, and board configurations. Difficulty escalates through reduced move counts, complex board layouts with teleporters and conveyor belts, and multi-objective challenges requiring strategic combo planning.
The power-up system activates when you match four or more candies: striped candies clear entire rows or columns, wrapped candies explode in 3x3 areas, and color bombs eliminate all candies of one type. Combining two power-ups triggers devastating chain reactions that cascade across the board, essential for three-star completion on advanced levels.
Progress through five themed candy worlds, each containing 100 unique levels with escalating complexity. Every tenth level features a boss challenge requiring advanced combo techniques and strategic power-up combinations to unlock the next world.
Master the cascade mechanic where cleared candies trigger gravity-based refills that create automatic secondary matches. Expert players chain up to 8 consecutive cascades in a single move, multiplying scores exponentially and earning mega-bonus rewards.
Compete in 24-hour rotating puzzle challenges with global leaderboards. Each daily level features unique modifiers like double-point striped candies, randomized starting boards, or time-based scoring that rewards speed over move efficiency.
Unlock the lab after level 25 to craft advanced boosters: the Rainbow Cascade clears entire color groups, the Time Freeze adds 10 bonus moves, and the Candy Hammer removes any single obstacle without using a move.
Earn up to three stars per level based on score thresholds. Accumulated stars unlock treasure chests containing permanent power-up upgrades, exclusive candy skins, and bonus lives. Collecting 150 stars grants access to the secret Infinite Mode.
All 500 levels remain fully playable without internet connection. Progress syncs automatically when you reconnect, preserving stars, unlocked worlds, and power-up inventory across devices through cloud save integration.
